Your student will enjoy learning how to solder when you have their favorite ocean fish - The Shark. Utilizing the latest PC board routing technology, the student is given the shape of the ocean’s fastest fish, the shark, to solder the provided electronic components onto. Begin by soldering the three "Dog Bone" resistors that mimic the gills of the shark, and the three resistors that make up the spine of this ocean scavenger. Then the student can solder a rare vintage tropical fish capacitor (a component that is very valuable, and can be used in audio applications as well). The student completes the kit by aligning the leads of a bright and colorful red and blue flashing LED (polarity observed) so the eye of the Shark lights up. Once completed, not only will the student be learning a valuable skill, but the student will also have a sense of accomplishment as grand as the Great White! Operates from one 9V battery (not included). Size of PC board: 4" x 2" Complete with all parts, PC board and instructions. Skill Level 1
