This is the perfect learn to solder kit! Not only does it give the first years student ample soldering experience with 22 practice components, it allows the student to create a very useful 9VDC battery analyzer/tester. Accurate and handy to have around, the tester lights up 2 LEDs to indicate whether the battery is in new/fresh condition, has some life left (about 7.5V to 8V) or is dead (under 7V). Size of PC board 1.9" x 3.4". Complete with all parts (including practice parts for soldering) and complete soldering instructions. Skill Level 1. This kit requires soldering of components to the PC board while building.
