C-6986 Micro Geiger Counter Kit
This micro Geiger counter kit is only 1.3” x 1.9” x .6” thick. It operates on one 9V battery (not included) and is sensitive to Beta and Gamma rays. Uses a tiny .6”L Russian Geiger Mueller tube and a one IC circuit. Great for detecting radiation from radioactive minerals, old camping lantern mantles, some orange colored dinner plates, old radium dial watches etc. Emits loud clicks and bright blue green flashes of light when radioactive rays strike the tube. Very compact and unique! Comes with all parts, PC board, GM tube and instructions. Requires soldering. Skill level 3.
