Plasma Ball

You can observe electric discharge in this battery-powered lightning plasma ball.
Touch with a fluorescent light or a neon tube and watch the ball become luminous.
By applying high frequency / high electric voltage to low-pressure gas (neon, argon and xenon mixed) inside the glass ball, the gas will become disassociated (weakly ionized plasma). The plasma will become conductive. Electrons will send out light when they collide against molecules or ions in the gas, allowing you to observe the paths of the electricity.
When you touch the glass ball with your hands, electricity will flow into your body and be grounded. You will see lights inside the ball gather toward hand.
